Welcome to SAM’s Transportation Services Wing. This information relates to services associated with the transportation of equipment and personnel. This may include transporting personnel either within the installation or to other locations off of the installation. Service contract carriers may be by many different modes of transportation to include car, bus, rail, or air. This may also include services for the upkeep and repair of government operated vehicles. SAM will assist in developing the best approach for acquiring these services for your user.

Transportation of Things
The Transportation of Things Store in the Transportation Services Wing of SAM consists of services related to motor pool operations, packing/crating services, air/motor/rail/vessel freight, air/motor/rail/vessel charter for things, space transportation and launch, and security vehicle services.
Transportation of People
The Transportation of People Store in the Transportation Services Wing of SAM consists of services related to air/motor/rail/marine passenger service, passenger air/motor/rail/marine charter service, ambulance service, taxicab service, navigational aid and pilotage services.
Other Travel and Relocation Services
The Other Travel and Relocation Services Store in the Transportation Services Wing of SAM consists of services related to hotel/motel lodging, military/civilian personnel recruitment, relocation services, travel agent services, and other travel services.
