The role of Test & Evaluation Teams is:

• Participate in the preparation of TRL Exit Criteria Checklists with special focus placed on the requirements validation done by Project Performers.
• Perform analysis on Validation planning and participate in witnessing technology testing when appropriate.
• Evaluate Test Results and Reports to determine pass/fail.

• Use this Quicklook Maturity Assessment to establish a project's current TRL.
• Determine a project's readiness to advance to the next TRL by Conducting a Gate Review.
